Thearith: Main is not a verb, an adjective.
Well, i also have the concern regarding this. But it seems that maybe the author have discovered something surprising during editing his docu. As all of us know already that there are many VN communities in Phnom Penh, from the big corners to small corners. Even near my house just behind the Lucky Market, i heard they speak loudly everyday….
Regarding the foreign atlas, sometimes they have also their reason, as i learn about a french atlas when i was at school in PP, they said the main languages in cambo are khmer, chinese as the main business are chinese (kon kat chen). I was wondering at that time and later and thought that it was not correct… and later i found that it’s the truth. Most of the business are chinese (half blood) even in my school, some of them are….in brief, just want to say that chinese language is one of the most important in cambodia….
@Koko: actually, I wanted to say it was Adjective, but I used the wrong term in Khmer 😀 …my bad….it’s actually គុណកិរិយាស័ព្ទ, isn’t it? 😀

Please do not confuse about the Vietnames language that they put in Geographical Information for Cambodia. This is not mean that Vietnamese is the offical language to use in Cambodia. But, however, official language or not, they may intended to manipulate it or to make people confuse. They have tried to confuse to the world tourists about Angkor Wat too, by not naming Cambodia or Kampuchea as where the Angkor Wat is located, but Vietnam & Thailand instead. I used to see the advertisement in Vietnamese Luxury or Luxurious Travel Agent did that. Many world tourists and Cambodian people may not aware that! But I do! They may have been tried or trying to eliminate Cambodia or Kampuchea from the world map. Aren’t they?
